Shawnee County has an amazing new web page that has all the information you might need regarding voting. All the information you need!
The November 4 election is critical. Every vote counts – especially in local elections. Make your voice count and we want District 1 to show up and show out!

HOW DOES VOTING GO?
- Find your polling place
- There will be a sample ballot at the polling place to look at before you vote
- Take an ID with you
- You will get to choose to vote by computer or by marking a paper ballot
- Based on your address, your ballot will have ONLY the races and issues you are invited to vote for
- You may vote on every item on your ballot, of course, BUT you don’t have to. You are free to vote only on the ones you are sure of.
- A poll worker will help check you out when you are done. They will not be looking at your votes.
- You will get an I Voted! sticker. Hooray. Wear it proudly!
- THANK YOU for voting. It matters!!

Consider inviting a friend or neighbor along! something is just takes a little encouragement, right?
